Gabe creates a clear organizational method which breaks down a seemingly impossible amount of information regarding herbal theory. He has a simple almost rhythmic way of teaching single herbs which made studying formulas and comps much easier. His associations, charts and memory tricks are great. I’m a student at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City and Gabe was my herb tutor when I was taking the comprehensive exam. I felt very overwhelmed at the time with the amount and complexity of the materials I had to study. Gabe made it really easy and simple for me to understand how to study and retain information. I also learned much more about each herb from Gabe outside of my regular classes. He uses drawings and stories to better illustrate what herbs do which I find very helpful. Gabe has a deep understanding on herbology which someday I hope to master.
